Cozy Retreat in the Heart of Indian River

This cozy and welcoming older home is located in the heart of Indian River. Here, you will be only a short walk to DeVoe Beach and downtown restaurants and shops. you’ll finding walking, biking and snowmobile trails nearby, 4 ski resorts within a half hour's drive, and endless Northern Michigan activities.

While you’re not out and about, this Cottage Core styled house may be the perfect spot for your crew to enjoy numerous games and activities, a campfire, or to just rest and relax.

The Space

Parking is available for 4-5 average sized vehicles. Less vehicle space if there are trailers. The garage is not available for parking.

Guest Access

The whole house and grounds are available to guests. They are not shared.

Other Things to Note

TV does not have cable. It has an HD Antenna for local channels, and it’s a smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, and more so you will need to sign in with your own account. Remember to sign out of your account when leaving.

Although the kitchen is fully stocked, and the bathroom has towels, we leave enough dishwashing supplies, paper towels, and toilet paper to get you started but please bring your own extras to cover the length of your stay.

PLEASE NOTE: If we discover that a pet was on the property or there was smoking, you may be charged.

Two air conditioning units are on the top floor, the downstairs does not have A/C units as it keeps much cooler than the upstairs. We do have fans on the main level for you to utilize.

The house has two full bathrooms on the main level and a half bath on the upper level. if you have a full house or lots of people we highly recommend spreading out water usage, although it has been rare, there's been instances where 11 people try to shower back to back and wash dishes and the water will stop working as we are on an older well and septic. It eventually comes back on after the tanks build pressure back up and again very rare that it happens. But we want you to be aware of it prior to arrival in case this is not the correct fit for you.
